About This Game The year is 2051. Location: SATAZIUS, a long-abandoned planet.The cruiser Agano was on patrol when it was attacked and stricken by a confederacy of space pirates that had established a base on SATAZIUS. The pirates attacked the Agano intending to steal the assault ship ‘Trafalgar’ that was stowed aboard the Agano, but the Trafalgar made a successful emergency escape.The crew of the Trafalgar calculated the probability of successfully escaping the pirate overrun planet at 0.02%; the probability of charging into and successfully destroying the pirate base was 1%. You cant get more authentic than this.. Could use an update.. Much like many of my NES favorites, this is a great side scrolling shooter.Decent music, retro style graphics, and a decent challenge level. Tons of games in this genre, but this is one I will likely leave installed. Excellent time waster, and currently a bonus gift in the recent Groupees game bundle.Drop on the bundle and get Ether Vapor as well. Have some Shmupping fun!. cool game like gradius. always crashed into ground. It's alright. The level design is a little cumbersome and the ship is a little too big for the speed it moves at but overall it's ok if you're a fan of horizontal shmups. There's not that many in Steam and this is probably one of better ones.. how did people miss the part there is no controller support! but it listed as partial controller I hate playing side-scroller on keyboard only at least gradius got that basic part right!. Good ole shmup fun. I am still working on Normal mode at this time, and I am loving every moment of it. The weapon upgrade system gives you some learning curve\/fun making you figure out which works best for each level\/enemy. There are moments where you have to quickly navigate through small areas while avoiding smashing into stuff\/getting blasted into scraps. \\m\/ (=_=) \\m\/ The Music gets me pumped, and the SFX are choice. Satazius is a dumpster fire.Reason number 1; Your choices for resolution are a) 640x480, or b) eat♥♥♥♥♥♥ Sure, you can choose between fullscreen or window, but that means you're either playing in ugly stretch-o-vision, or tiny box-o-vision. Either way it looks awful.Reason number 2; It is a 2D shooter that won't let you redefine your controls, meaning that if you don't want to use an analogue stick to control your craft, then its only answer for you is *shrug*.Now, if these aren't problems for you, then by all means, have at. Otherwise, avoid like an AIDS-filled minefield.
